The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Boston University is a venerable liberal arts school with 88 majors across four divisions. They wanted a website. We designed them an ecosystem.

The mothership site is designed to catch editorial content generated by BU's central editorial team, as well as CAS departments and offices. The site aggregated all of the College's vast resources under one umbrella, tailored to the needs of six audiences discovered during user research. The colorful companion themes designed for academic departments feature a choice of 16 color palettes and flexible architecture that meets the needs of the smallest or largest collection of content.

I conducted 60+ primary interviews and a half-dozen focus groups for this project. When printed, the information architecture covers a wall. It's a weird thing to be proud of.
